These are some of the reviews I’ve gathered since I’ve started to work in Italy (2022).

STEP 1: knowledge and definition of the aim

Before starting training with Denis, we met twice and talked for a long time: he was disappointed by past experiences with personal trainers and plagued by pain, from his back to his feet. His goal was to improve his physical pain and strengthen his strength.

STEP 2: LIFESTYLE STUDY

Denis worked in shifts, with weekly change. Not only this disturbs the circadian cycle, but also leads to irregularity in sleep and meals. I then discovered that:

  • No one had ever advised him to wear suitable shoes for training. I then had him talk to an expert in the field (orthopedic technician) and we bought some good sneakers, partially solving the problem of his feet.
  • His diet, due to his work, was hasty and unhealthy. We made sure to find healthy snacks that he could take with him.
  • I had to find a solution to improve his sleep… But for that read to the end.

STEP 3: WORKOUT

We started slowly, focusing a lot on core strengthening and stretching. The results were surprising already after the first month: colleagues at work were asking him how he was able to lift weights so easily and his physique was taking on a different shape.

CONCLUSIONS

As we saw each other, Denis confided in me his daily difficulties. After about six months, I realized that his main problem was disturbed sleep. Not only because of the shifts, but also because of an old mattress.

Buying an orthopedic mattress meant having to give up my presence (the expenses were high even having to spend half an hour to reach me). For this reason Denis was very sceptical, but I convinced him by telling him that he no longer needed me, as he had the necessary knowledge to train on his own.

Now Denis’s life has changed radically. The new mattress has made the difference: the back pain has disappeared, and today Denis no longer wakes up ten times during the night, but he manages to sleep soundly.

Today Denis continues his journey by himself, making use of the simple help of my training programs. We are also very good friends and we hang out sometimes!

MY BEST “CLIENT”: MY FATHER, 82 YEARS OLD!

This man never ceases to amaze me. After covid my father gained weight, about 30 pounds in total. When I told him the health risks at his age 82, he took my advice seriously and changed the next day.

It was hard for him but the longer he kept at it the eaesir it was to maintain. He was able to lose all the weight he gained during covid and his doctor was shock at all his vitals after his yearly physical.

I couldn’t be more proud of this man. He’s living proof that age is only a number and that you’re never too old to change your habits.
